Why Is Sukuna Interested in Megumi?
The short answer is that Sukuna recognized the might of Megumi's powers.
Megumi's Ten Shadows cursed technique is a force to be reckoned with, and it makes sense that Sukuna would be wary of it or look for ways to use it.
Since Sukuna was forced to share Yuji Itadori's body, he came to know more about Megumi's powers since Yuji trained and fought alongside him.
Therefore, it makes sense for him to think of ways to exploit any power near him.

Megumi's Possession by Sukuna Explained
The latest Jujutsu Kaisen chapters take a shocking turn for the worst when Sukuna manages to escape Yuji's body and possess Megumi.
While Sukuna's reasoning isn't fully explored, his interest in Megumi makes a lot of sense in retrospect.
We can't know if Sukuna planned to possess Megumi all along. But he's self-serving and, having studied Megumi's strong Shikigami definitely aided his decision to possess him.
After all, Sukuna didn't want to stay in the body of Yuji, who could mostly keep him under control without losing his personality.
Knowing that Megumi is a strong sorcerer and his sister was also possessed by the cursed spirit Yorozu, Sukuna must have felt Megumi was a great host.
So far, Sukuna is, unfortunately, right in thinking Megumi would be easier to break, though fans do hope that he can still bounce back somehow.
Was Sukuna Always Interested in Megumi?
While no one saw Megumi's possession coming, fans have noted Sukuna's interest in him as early as two or three years before the twist.
Readers had theorized that Sukuna would want to somehow use Megumi's Shikigami to make himself a new body.
Others supposed that Sukuna hoped to abuse Megumi's cursed technique to summon himself, then reverse it to get a body independent of Yuji.
Others still suggested that Sukuna might be grooming Megumi to defeat Satoru Gojo since the former's interest in Megumi goes way back in time.
Of course, after Gojo became Megumi's teacher, such an outcome would never be likely.
But amidst the theories, very few fans, if any, expected that Sukuna would possess Megumi himself, especially since Yuji had shown such self-control.
Whether Sukuna decided to possess Megumi on the spot or not, this is a violent twist that has fans worried about the manga's ending.
