Jude Law Spills Surprising Details About His Star Wars Character

Just like whenever there is an upcoming Star Wars offering, Skeleton Crew is one of the franchise’s new projects that fans can't wait to see and love.

Aside from a brief synopsis and the names of a few actors who will star in it, only a little information has been revealed about the upcoming Disney+ series.

The plot revolves around a group of youths who leave the relative safety of their home planet to explore the galaxy, only to be caught by a pirate crew led by the wicked Vane.

Jude Law is among those who will grace the Star Wars series, and his character is believed to come to the aid of the kids, which suggests that he could be the good guy.

But in his recent interview with Empire Magazine to tease about his unnamed character, Law revealed a surprising thing that could indicate he’s leaning toward the darker side instead.

“They need guidance, but they’re vulnerable,” said Law. “And so throughout, the people they meet, you question all of them. Is my character nice? Is he not? You just want them to be alright and get back home. But if you know Jon and Chris’ work, you’ll know that the kids aren’t always safe.”

Law then defined his character as "complicated," implying that despite displaying force-like abilities in the teaser, he may not be a Jedi after all.

The actor also praised the vision of Star Wars and how Skeleton Crew will add to that, coming from the perspective of the younger ones.

“Seeing this galaxy, this world that we’ve all grown up loving, and the jeopardy, the divides, the heroes, the villains, through the eyes of children, is brilliant,” said Law.

Skeleton Crew will also feature Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, and Ryan Kiera Armstrong. While Tunde Adebimpe and Kerry Condon are set for supporting roles.

The Star Wars series has yet to have a release date, but it is expected to premiere on Disney+ later this year.
