Jonah Hill Reportedly in Talks to Play Penguin or Riddler in Matt Reeves' The Batman

Matt Reeves' The Batman is one of the more interesting DC movies coming out since it will essentially be a reboot of what we've seen in the DCEU. Robert Pattinson has officially been cast as Bruce Wayne aka Batman and it looks like Warner Bros has already found its villain, assuming that things go well. According to The Wrap, we could be getting Jonah Hill as the movie's antagonist.

But who will he be? While previous reports claimed that he was going to be The Penguin, there's also a chance that the actor will end up playing Edward Nigma, who most fans know as The Riddler.

It's still not yet clear which of these characters is going to be used in the film but Hill is definitely an interesting choice to play them. While mostly known for comedies, Jonah Hill has proven his acting chops in recent years and could be a compelling version of either Penguin or Riddler. As we wait for more official news of the movie, expect more casting decisions to be made and an eventual casting announcement that will reveal the characters.

Hill and Pattinson might be odd choices to lead The Batman but they could prove everyone wrong with this film. Pattinson is still fighting off the Twilight stink that has followed him since, well, Twilight but movies like Good Time have proven that he's a capable actor. I really hope these two put on a show and get to make more movies together.

The Batman will be coming out on June 25, 2021.
