Joker Fan's Rant Goes Viral After He Trashes Parasite for Winning Best Picture

The internet had celebrated when Parasite won the Oscar for Best Picture last weekend, but you know who wasn't happy? YouTuber Robert Storms. Storms had posted up a rant on his channel after the Oscars, saying how Parasite didn't deserve to win and how Joker was more "culturally relevant." He has apparently gone viral on Twitter, and has become the face of "white male rage."

Here's the clip that went all over Twitter:

It's kind of silly how Storms would say that Joker was about how "people in high places look down and frown upon the poor" because that's kind of the whole point of Parasite. I guess he should have checked out the movie before he went on his rant.

As of now, the YouTube video has 1k likes versus 38k dislikes. Storms had also posted this on the comments to sort of ease the hate that has gone his way:

I am not saying that Parasite is a bad movie! That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm just saying that the Oscars needs to look at how things are categorized in their movies. I was upset in this video as you can tell and I always try to be real on my channel. I know I upset many of you and I'm sorry, but I stand by my video. I hope you all won't unsubscribe but if you do I'll understand. I'm sorry everyone. I love you all.

If anything, there is some sense in Storms' point, but everyone is just laughing at how angry he is in the video, and how he has judged Parasite without even checking the movie out. What's more, his prime example of what should've won was Joker, which has kind of become a film that is championed by "angry white men."

Either way, you can check out Parasite and Joker now available on home video.
