Joker 2 Set Photos Reveal Lady Gaga's Take on the Iconic Staircase Scene

For the past couple of weeks, we've been seeing a lot of set photos and videos from the filming of the highly-anticipated sequel Joker: Folie à Deux. As hinted by what we've seen so far, it looks like the film will be as wild and gritty as the first film with Lady Gaga joining the party this time around.

One of the most iconic scenes from the film was when Joker was dancing on a staircase and it even became the image that was also used in the posters and promotional materials. Some fans are starting to wonder whether the sequel will revisit that scene and, fortunately, it looks like that is the case with Harley Quinn now taking it.

Over the weekend, a new batch of set photos and videos emerged online from the filming of Joker: Folie à Deux where Gaga is seen shooting a scene in the same exact location where the iconic staircase scene was filmed. It is being speculated that the actress is doing her own take on the scene in the sequel.

This is certainly an interesting tease about what we will see in the film and it does suggest that Gaga is also getting a large screen time as Harley Quinn. It is curious to see what the context of the staircase scene will be once Gaga does it in the sequel.

Around last week, Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix were also seen filming a scene outside Manhattan Criminal Court with a large crowd of extras acting as protesting citizens of Gotham City. The film also shot scenes in Los Angeles during its first few months of filming.

The cast also includes Zazie Beetz, Catherine Keener, Brendan Gleeson, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey. Todd Phillips also returned to direct the film and co-write with Scott Silver. It is part of the DC Elseworlds franchise.
