Joker Folie à Deux sequel to the highly praised Oscar-winning Joker gave fans a new look at the movie with the reveal of the first poster for the DC flick.

The post from the official Joker movie X/Twitter account also revealed that a trailer for the movie will be released on April 9.

In addition, DiscussingFilm also posted audio of Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn from Joker Folie à Deux on their account, giving fans a first listen to the singer/actress and how she sounds as The Clown Prince of Crime's psychotic love interest.

The movie poster uploaded on the official Joker Movie account shows Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker sporting a tuxedo and Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn wearing an elegant white dress. Could this be pointing to wedding bells for the villainous duo at some point in the new movie?

Either way, the pair are stylishly dressed in the poster and appear to be dancing under a spotlight as Joker holds a cigarette in his right hand.

The Joker Movie account said in the post, "The world is a stage. Trailer April 9," revealing that April 9 is the date we can see our first peak at the crime caper.

Discussing Film on X/Twitter also posted an audio recording of Lady Gaga as Harley, giving a sneak peek into what the character will sound like in the movie.

“You can do anything you want… you’re Joker.” is all that we get to hear in the clip, read in a similar style to Lady Gaga's own voice. It is a stark contrast to the usually nasally version of her voice as performed by Tara Strong in the Batman Animated Series and Margot Robbie in her version of Quinn seen in the live-action DCEU.

Joker Folie à Deux is set to release on October 4 this year and will reportedly be a 'jukebox musical' with 15 cover songs.

Starring Joaquin Phoenix who previously played Johnny Cash in Walk the Line and Lady Gaga, a world renowned singer who has won 13 Grammy awards, this musical sequel could have a soundtrack to remember.
