JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Star Hypes up Manga's Future

There is little doubt that Fairouz Ai did an awesome job playing Jolyne Cujoh in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. After all, she prepared for the role by reading Part 6 of the manga. Not surprisingly, Fairouz has continued reading up on Hirohiko Araki's works and now she is hyping up the next part of the beloved manga.

Fairouz was interviewed for the latest issue of Ultra Jump where she spoke about her love for Araki's works. The How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift? star revealed that she truly enjoys Part 8 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, admitting that she waits for every new volume.

"Of course I've read JoJolion! It's the longest serialization in the series thus far, so I was on the edge of my seat every single volume as the mysteries unfolded," Fairouz said. She then shared which parts of JoJolion she enjoys the most.

"In the beginning, I didn't really understand Josuke's purpose but his growth left an impression on me after he made up his mind to protect Holy. I also love the relationship between him and Yasuho, and the atmosphere of their conversations," Fairouz said.

JoJolion isn't the only part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure that Fairouz is gushing about. The Tokyo Revengers star also pointed out that she is already looking forward to Part 9.

"On another note, as a fan of the series, I was also happy to see characters and locations from the previous parts appear in this world that's essentially come full circle, with their essence still intact even though their appearances or names have changed," Fairouz said. "Joseph Joestar, Yoshikage Kire, and so on. I was shocked at Johnny's last moment but I also see it as a tribute to humanity. I'll be looking forward to the next installment, JoJo Lands!"

We can't blame Fairouz for being excited about JoJo Lands. After all, there were concerns that JoJolion would be the end of JJBA but luckily, we will continue to see more of the Joestars in the future.

Fairouz plays Jolyne Cujoh in the first 12 episodes of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean which is now streaming on Netflix.
