The long wait for new episodes of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean continues but at least, we now have an idea of when they will arrive. Netflix has confirmed that Part 2 of the anime will be back this year and that Episodes 13 to 24 will be dropped very soon!
The update was dropped during Stone Ocean's GREEN stage panel at Anime Japan 2022 which was attended by Fairouz Ai, Mutsumi Tamura, Mariya Ise, Atsumi Tanezaki, and Yuichiro Umehara. The new trailer for Episodes 13-24 was released by Netflix although the teaser only confirms that the anime's second part will be sometime in 2022.
So when exactly in 2022 are we getting JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Part 2? The anime's official Twitter account shared the new key visual and the post confirms that the next batch of episodes is coming in Fall 2022.
That isn't a definite release date but at least we now know how soon we can expect to see the next cour of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. There will still be roughly six months to wait but that doesn't mean that the franchise will be taking things slow.
It was also announced that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The new projects will commemorate the anime's broadcast which started back in 2012. Although details about the projects have not yet been revealed, a new announcement will be made on April 4, 2022.
The synopsis for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Part 2 reads as follows:
"2011, United States, Florida — When Jolyne Cujoh and her boyfriend get in an accident while out on a drive, she is framed for the crime and sentenced to 15 years in prison. Will she ever be free from this prison — this stone ocean? The final battle in the century-spanning, intertwining fate of the Joestar family and DIO begins!"
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Episodes 13 to 24 will premiere on Netflix in Fall 2022.
