There is little doubt that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is one of the most popular anime around the world and has become an influential part of pop culture. So it's no surprise that Jenna Ortega is familiar with Hirohiko Araki's works. The Wednesday star just referenced Stardust Crusaders and also reminded us of the most beloved character in the JJBA universe.

Jenna Ortega is currently promoting her latest project Scream 6 and she took part in an episode of the Vanity Fair Game Show (via Twitter). In the game, the cast of the horror sequel answered questions about their co-star Mason Gooding. When Gooding asked them the name of his dog, everyone answered, "Iggy," and Ortega added, "From JoJo's Bizarre Adventure."

Not surprisingly, Gooding was impressed and even awarded Jenna Ortega with an additional point after she pointed out that she should get one for mentioning that the dog was named after a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure character.

It's awesome that Jenna Ortega (and Mason Gooding) just gave JoJo's Bizarre Adventure a surprise shoutout and fans are loving it.

In Stardust Crusaders, Iggy was a feisty Boston terrier who joined Jotaro Kujo and his team as they travelled to Egypt to defeat the villainous Dio and save Jotaro's mother. Iggy is also a Stand User who controls The Fool, a Stand which can manipulate sand and dust. Although they originally hate each other, the adorable dog forges a bond with Jean Pierre Polnareff.

Last year, Iggy got his own JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga featuring Muhammad Avdol. In Iggy the Stray Dog, readers got to see the pup's early years. The manga, which was penned by Otsuichi, revealed the first Stand-off between Iggy and Avdol, who was the one who captured the Stand User dog in New York and brought him on the quest to save Jotaro's mother.
