Chad Stahelski recently spoke to Screen Rant where he was asked which characters he would like to get their own spin-off project. The John Wick director admitted he is eager to see Rina Sawayama, Laurence Fishburne, and Donnie Yen all over again.

"Rina's character, Akira, I would love to see," Stahelski said. "I would love the Bowery King to see what goes on more in that world. I'm fascinated by the Homeless World there."

"I love Donnie Yen's character, I would like to see what made him," he added.

Stahelski continued, "I even would love to see Shamir, the tracker with the dog."

The director also confirmed that he would like to revisit the characters from John Wick: Chapter Two and Chapter Three.

"I miss Halle Berry's character," Stahelski said. "I want to see if Common survived the second movie. Did he come back out of retirement for that?"

"I'd like to see The Adjudicator Asia Kate Dillon again," he added. "Tick tock. All these great people I would love to see again."

It's no surprise that Chad Stahelski has a lot of ideas for the spin-offs. After all, he spent several years building the John Wick Universe and introducing truly interesting characters whose backstories are just begging to be explored.

In the meantime, there are two John Wick spin-offs that are already set for release. The limited series The Continental: From the World of John Wick is already set to premiere on Peacock later this year and the film Ballerina will hit theaters sometime in 2024.
