John Boyega May Have Given Us Finn's Look for Star Wars Episode IX

Star Wars Episode IX starts shooting this month, but no one has any idea on what the cast will look like for the movie. By welcoming new cast mate Naomi Ackie, however, it looks like John Boyega has given us a glimpse of Finn's look for Episode IX.

With The Last Jedi coming so close after The Force Awakens, it looks like we're going to get a significant time jump for Episode IX. We don't know how much time the movie plans to pass, but we do know that Finn grows his hair by the time we see him again.

There are so many questions as to where the story might go for the future, but Lucasfilm will probably deliver it to us in due time. For now, all we have are speculation and set photos to help us get hyped for the movie. It's probably a good guess that we'll get our first teaser sometime around Star Wars Celebration next year.

Despite the backlash from The Last Jedi, I hope that J.J Abrams and Chris Terrio continue the trend of unpredictability that Rian Johnson had started with the last film. The Force Awakens was a downright rehash of A New Hope, so I hope Abrams will try to spice up the finale this time around.

Star Wars Episode IX comes out Dec. 20, 2019.
