J.J. Abrams Will Keep Begging to Work with John Boyega After Seeing Actor’s Moving Protest Speech

It looks like Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker director J.J. Abrams was moved by John Boyega's protest speech during the Black Lives Matter protest in London yesterday.

Not only has Boyega been vocal about his support for the Black Lives Matter movement on social media, but the Star Wars sequel trilogy actor has taken to the streets to join the protests against racism and brutality.

Boyega was absolutely courageous when he joined the rally.

"Look I don't know if I'm going to have a career after this but, f**k that," the Star Wars actor began his speech, megaphone in hand.

A lot of netizens have rallied in support of Boyega, and that includes Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker director J.J. Abrams.

"Black lives have always mattered. We have always been important," Boyega said in one video, "We have always meant something. We have always succeeded regardless. And now is the time. I ain't waiting."

Seeing Boyega take to the streets to express his outrage against racism and police brutality, Abrams decided to take to Twitter to declare his respect for the actor's bravery.

"You KNOW that as long as I'm allowed to keep working, I'll always be begging to work with you. Deep respect and love, my friend," Abrams wrote in his post.
