Who would have known that a physical therapist like Kim Dan, who works odd jobs 24/7, would have an opportunity to work for the lightweight MMA champion, Jaekyung?
Everything between Kim Dan and Jaekyung began when the physical therapist accepted an unusual job offer from the MMA fighter.
It’s not like any job opportunity there is, as Kim Dan has to become the person Jaekyung needs to deal with his jinx.
Jaekyung’s jinx is all about him having a satisfying sexual encounter with a man before he gets into the ring and wins the match.
It’s like a requirement Jaekyung has to fulfill that will most certainly give him the energy and boost to get the victory against his opponent.
It just so happens that Kim Dan is in dire need of money to pay not only the loan sharks but also his grandmother’s hospitalization fees.
He agreed to Jaekyung’s job offer with a salary of $14,000 a month in exchange for the deed and some physical therapies.
So far, Kim Dan is doing very well in his peculiar job. He also began to see Jae Kyung in a different light.
At first, Kim Dan only sees Jaekyung as a scary and rough man, but gradually, he sees his kindness, tenacity, and even vulnerability.
They are now living together, which makes some of the people near them jealous. Jae Kyung has to deal with Heesung, while Kim Dan has to deal with Potato.
On the other hand, Kim Dan’s grandmother finally met Jaekyung, who paid all of her grandson’s debt and even her medical fees. She is very thankful to Jaekyung for helping her grandson out.
All’s well between Kim Dan and Jaekyung, not until the latter’s shoulder injury gives him the ick.
Worse, media outlets are now reporting about Jaekyung’s medical exam results, as if there’s someone in their group who’s out to bring Jaekyung down.

After Jaekyung’s recent victory in America against Dominic, Kim Dan finally has the time to gather his thoughts and contemplate his feelings.
He wouldn’t be able to notice his feelings himself if it weren’t for Choi Heesung, who told him that Jaekyung has feelings for him.
Of course, Kim Dan became conscious of Jae Kyung, and since then, the MMA fighter has never left his mind.
In fact, during their time in America, Kim Dan struggled to find ways to help Jaekyung out.
Despite Jaekyung’s harsh treatment, Kim Dan never wavered in front of him; instead, he looked for opportunities to help Jaekyung win his match.
In a spoiler for Jinx Chapter 41, Kim Dan finally admits that he has romantic feelings for Jaekyung. They have been through a lot, so it’s not surprising that one of them will fall in love with the other at some point.
For now, what Kim Dan needs to do is ensure that Jaekyung never overexerts himself. He has a shoulder injury, and Kim Dan has to be stern with Jaekyung, despite the latter’s attitude toward him.
