The second season of Jessica Jones was a bit slower than most fans expected but it still had a number of memorable moments, such as Trish Walker's operation to become more capable. It officially teased the character becoming Hellcat, though unlike her comic book counterpart she will act as a more villainous foil to her seemingly former friend.
Seems like Trish becoming Hellcat will be a big part of season three as a BTS video from the show's production (via Daily Mail) reveals actress Rachel Taylor getting used to Trish's new athletics, with help from some wires. Posts from Twitter have also hinted that Jones actress Krysten Ritter will be directing this episode, which should be interesting since it could showcase Ritter's other talents, assuming she does a good job of course.
Fans looking forward to this won't be disappointed, though they probably wish the two heroes were working together. Admittedly, we don't know what the third season has in store for fans so they could become friends again but that's just pure speculation.
Hellcat is a comic book character who actually predates Jones and hasn't really interacted with her, aside from a quick team-up during the hero's short-lived ongoing series a few years ago. It will be fun to see if they give her a comic-accurate costume but they have yet to do that with Iron Fist so that's just wishful thinking for now.
