Lopez and Affleck made their blended family work, and Garner had a huge contribution. She has been supportive of their children spending time with their dad and stepmom.
Lopez and Affleck share three children — Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10. Lopez also shares 14-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
She is "an amazing co-parent," Lopez told Vogue magazine of Garner, adding that the Miracles from Heaven star and her husband, Affleck, "work really well together."
The Marry Me actress clarified that their priority was their children.
"The transition is a process that needs to be handled with so much care," she explained. "They have so many feelings. They're teens. But it's going really well so far. What I hope to cultivate with our family is that his kids have a new ally in me and my kids have a new ally in him, someone who really loves and cares about them but can have a different perspective and help me see things that I can't see with my kids because I'm so emotionally tied up."

Jennifer Garner Reportedly Joined Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck During Halloween 2021
Last year, Garner, Lopez and Affleck spent the Halloween weekend together. They took their children trick-or-treating in Malibu, California.
"Everyone gets along, and the focus is always on the kids. Jennifer, Ben and Jen Garner all wanted the kids to have an amazing Halloween," a source told People.
"The kids are friends and wanted to go trick-or-treating together. It made sense that they all went together."
The insider added that they had to work Monday, so "they wanted to enjoy a family weekend." Another anonymous source confirmed to Page Six that the exes — Affleck and Garner — spent time together with their children at Huckleberry cafe in Santa Monica earlier in the morning too.
