Jason Momoa Slammed By PETA For Feeding Bear With Cookie From His Mouth

There is little doubt that Jason Momoa is someone that everybody loves. However, PETA isn't quite impressed with the Aquaman star. The organization has just criticized Momoa for his video where he feeds a bear with a cookie from his mouth.

Momoa shared the video on his official Instagram account and it's actually sort of cute and terrifying at the same time. Check it out below.

That wasn't so bad, was it? Well, PETA didn't like that video because it reportedly shows "animal exploitation." The organization's Twitter account fired at Momoa for doing the "sad stunt."

"BREAKING: In a sad stunt, a captive bear ate a cookie out of actor Jason Momoa's mouth. Bears used for entertainment are often torn from their mothers as infants, beat, & forced to perform. Please, Jason, don't promote wild animal exploitation in the future," the post read. It went on to explain that the bear was provided by Steve Martin's Working Wildlife, which reportedly leaves animals in poor living conditions.

The rant concluded with a hopeful message.

"Momoa knows how lifelike CGI, animatronics, & other cutting-edge technologies are, but subjecting a bear to the bright lights & bustle of a production set is stressful & totally outdated. PETA urges the actor to consider compassion & refuse work with wild animals going forward," the tweet read.

Momoa has not responded to PETA's criticism just yet. We'll keep you posted on this story.

The Game of Thrones actor is currently promoting his new series See, which is currently streaming on Apple TV+.
