Jason Momoa Shares Shocking Justice League Snyder Cut Image Featuring Aquaman Vs Steppenwolf

People are still hoping that Zack Snyder's own version of Justice League will be released in the future. Not surprisingly, Jason Momoa is one of these people and he has just revealed a shocking new image from the Snyder Cut where Aquaman actually takes on Steppenwolf.

Momoa shared the photo on his official Instagram account along with the hashtag #releasethesnydercut. Check it out below.

It's an interesting change considering that Steppenwolf suffered a rather disappointing fate in the theatrical cut of Justice League. In the film, the villain was overcome by his own fears and taken down by the Parademons. The idea of Aquaman stabbing Steppenwolf with his trident would have been awesome. Hopefully, this is one of the ways that the heroes will manage to defeat the villain in the Snyder Cut.

Aquaman isn't the only member of the Justice League who gets to take on Steppenwolf in the Snyder Cut. Snyder had previously shared an image of Wonder Woman chopping off the villain's head with her sword. Is it possible that Arthur Curry will injure Steppenwolf before Diana Prince steps in for the kill? If it is, then we can't wait to see the Snyder Cut, either.

Snyder has already confirmed that he has his own cut of Justice League although Warner Bros. never really confirmed if it would ever be released. Nevertheless, that hasn't stopped fans from campaigning for Snyder's version of the film to be made available. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
