People confirmed Jansen's death Monday, February 20. The star reportedly died in New York City over the weekend, though the cause of his death wasn't revealed yet.

Jansen was only five years younger than Hayden, and he followed in her sister's footsteps in the entertainment world.

His latest upload was a photo of his girlfriend, Catherine Michie, standing beside an artwork of a woman's face. He captioned the image with a simple blue heart, the same color as Catherine's shirt, and used the hashtag #rane.
