Jamie Foxx is now on the road to recovery as the actor is reportedly “healing” more than a week after his mysterious health scare.
Jamie’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, broke the news about his father’s unknown medical emergency in a post on Instagram Wednesday, April 12. However, the younger Foxx gave no details about his dad’s condition.
Jamie Foxx is Now Recovering
A source told Entertainment Tonight that the 55-year-old is healing, though he’s still in a hospital in Georgia.
“He feels the love from everyone,” the insider added.
People previously reported that Jamie was “steadily improving” from his mysterious medical emergency.

CNN then revealed that the doctors were “running tests and still trying to figure out exactly what happened.”
The Oscar winner’s family has remained mum about his health condition since Corinne announced his health scare.
“My father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” the Beat Shazam co-host’s post read.

“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” she continued. “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers.”
Jamie Foxx’s New Netflix Movie Back in Action
A day before Jamie’s medical emergency, he was still seen on the set of his movie, Back in Action.
However, after a day, E! News claimed the crew was notified that he would be a couple of hours late due to an illness.
Shortly after, they got a call that he would not be coming for that day’s filming, which resulted in calling off the production for the day.
Alternatively, his co-star, the returning actress Cameron Diaz, continues the movie’s filming despite Jamie’s absence.
On Tuesday, she was photographed in Atlanta, Georgia, shooting a scene with a stand-in actor for Jamie.
Amid the lead star’s medical emergency, the production continues as it’s scheduled to wrap this week, sticking to its original plan.
