A new trailer for James Gunn'sSuicide Squad has been dropped during the theatrical debut of Godzilla vs. Kong and the trailer features a lot of new footage in the film giving a lot more on Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Ratcatcher, Polka-Dot Man, and even giving new looks on Starro.

In a report by ComicBook.com, the video is taken from the side of a cinema while waiting for the film Godzilla vs. Kong. It is as if that the trailer is one that is yet to be available online and it would be for those who will catch Godzilla vs. Kong in theaters. Last week, a trailer has been released for James Gunn's The Suicide Squad and this is a different trailer than that.

The new trailer has so much more glimpses of what is in store for the fans and viewers on the upcoming The Suicide Squad of James Gunn. The trailer also highlights John Cena's Peacemaker where he easily steals the scene making more sense that he is about to get a spin-off series of his own.

Dropping such a trailer during the theatrical debut of Godzilla vs. Kong makes sense, as well as the film of the battle between the two giant monsters, sets a precedent to films that will be released in theaters soon as it records the biggest single-day box office record despite the ongoing global pandemic which exceeds the expectations set for the film's release.

Godzilla vs. Kong is out on theaters now, as well as on HBO Max, while James Gunn's The Suicide Squad is slated for a theatrical release on August 6, 2021, with a same-day release on HBO Max.
