Life has been absolutely great for James Gunn who recently married his longtime partner Jennifer Holland in an equally dreamy and intimate ceremony. The wedding was attended by their loved ones and close friends and it turns out, it instantly became a Marvel and DC crossover event of sorts as some of the cast members of Guardians of the Galaxy, The Suicide Squad, and Peacemaker were present during their special day.
Taking to Twitter, Gunn shared a snap from his first wedding dance with wife Jennifer Holland and while he says the moment was sweet, the director claims it pales in comparison to their second dance where they blasted Britney Spears' massive hit "Baby One More Time".
A fan would then ask if they actually danced the Peacemaker intro and it turns out that John Cena was happy to oblige. According to Gunn, Cena, along with the Emilia Harcourt actress, the rest of the cast in attendance, as well as the bridesmaids all grooved to the now-iconic intro.

Speaking of Christopher Smith, in case you were worried that he might be on the receiving end of Warner Bros. Discovery's proverbial axe, the second season of Peacemaker will begin filming in early 2023 and while key details about the project are still being kept under wraps, it's expected to hit HBO Max in the same year. Hopefully, the Justice League tease from the Season 1 finale means he's being recruited to the team.
