Jaimie Alexander Teases Sif's Possible Return In Tom Hiddleston's Loki Series

Fans are currently celebrating after Disney confirmed that Tom Hiddleston will headline the highly anticipated Loki series. But who will be joining the God of Mischief in his new standalone show? Jaimie Alexander may have hinted at the possibility of returning as the Lady Sif in the Disney+ series.

People were understandably disappointed when Alexander didn't reprise her role as the Asgardian warrior in Thor: Ragnarok. However, it may have been a blessing considering that almost every surviving Asgardian was killed in Avengers: Infinity War. Nevertheless, Alexander seems open to playing Sif again in the future. Her most recent Twitter post shows the character in battle. Take a look at her tweet below.

Alexander added a cheeky caption, "Today's mood..." Naturally, the post immediately had fans speculating that the Blindspot actress was teasing at Sif joining the Loki series.

Sif certainly seems like the perfect character to reintroduce in Hiddleston's show. The character is known for her no-nonsense approach to everything, much like Thor in the first two films. Her fate in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was also ambiguous since she hasn't shown up after Thor: The Dark World. It would make sense that Loki would find the only surviving member of Thor's team.

Alexander has also reprised her role as Sif in Agents of SHIELD so we know that the character gets along well with others. We're just not sure if she can stop herself from punching Loki whenever she can.

Hiddleston's co-stars in the Loki series have not yet been announced so we would recommend taking this with a grain of salt.

The new Disney+ show has not yet been given an official title or production start. Nevertheless, the Loki series is expected to air as soon as the streaming service is launched late next year.
