WJSN's fans are worried about the K-pop girl group's future.
Starship Entertainment launched a new girl group in 2016. WJSN, or Cosmic Girls, released Would You Like? and its hit songs, Mo Mo Mo and Catch Me in the same year. After going through ups and downs, the group officially surpassed its 7th anniversary.
However, the supposed special day also received mixed reactions from fans.

Is WJSN Disbanding?
On Twitter, fans have been posting queries about whether or not the girl group is about to disband. Among the comments read:
“I thought WJSN was gonna be on bubble… they aren’t? Are they disbanding? Or leaving SSE?”
“the fact that at any moment now we could log into Twitter and be faced with the fact that wjsn is disbanding or not is crazy to me.”
“COMING SOON HAD WJSN HOW ARE THEY GONNA REMOVE IT LIKE WE WONT NOTICE??? STARSHIP SPEAK UP IS WJSN ACTUALLY DISBANDING.”

The buzz started after a viral March 1 post (via Wikitree). The post had the title "The idol group that didn't do anything for their 7th-anniversary and causing fans frustration."
A WJSN fan expressed their rage and slammed Starship Entertainment for not doing something special to mark the girl group's 7th debut anniversary. Instead, the agency only posted a photo of the girl group members — without the China line members — alongside the text "WJSN 7th Anniversary."
Starship Entertainment has not commented on the issue yet.
WJSN, on the other hand, held a fan concert on Jan. 7 and 8, 2023, WJSN Fan-Con Codename: Ujung. No announcement about its next activity has been revealed yet.
WJSN China Line Already Left?
Amid the disbanded rumors, fans previously assumed that WJSN Chinese members — Xuanyi, Cheng Xiao, and Meiqi — had already left the group as early as 2018. They have not appeared in any of the group's schedules since Dreams Come True in February 2018.
As of press time, the three members remain active in China. Their Weibo accounts previously had "Cosmic Girls member" in their accounts' bio. However, they seemingly removed it years ago.
