Sk8 the Infinity revolves around high schooler Reki, who channels all his passion into skateboarding.
As night descends, he enters the world of S, an illegal underground skate race circuit nestled within a mine.
At S, skaters navigate treacherous challenges. A devastating defeat shatters Reki’s skateboard and breaks his arm, leaving him unable to practice.
Amid his daily grind, Reki encounters a new classmate, Langa Hasegawa, a half-Canadian, half-Japanese boy with zero skateboarding experience.
Driven by financial desperation, Langa becomes entangled in Reki’s world when they are assigned a task by Reki’s boss to visit S.
The duo finds themselves in a predicament, forced into a bet that compels Langa to participate in a skate race.
Unbeknownst to Reki, his enigmatic classmate holds a secret card that might just turn the tide in the race in an unexpected way.

Is Sk8 the Infinity a BL Anime?
Sk8 the Infinity is a sports anime with racing and friendship as its core themes, but it is not a BL anime per se. However, the fandom is divided over the genre of the Sk8 the Infinity anime series.
Many believe that the relationship between the main protagonists, Reki and Langa can be romantic.

Sk8 the Infinity Season 1 is available to stream on Crunchyroll. Meanwhile, Sk8 the Infinity Season 2 and an OVA are already in production, but the official release dates have yet to be announced.
