The coming-of-age fantasy comedy follows a deaf-mute little prince, Bojji, who faces the throne with all his might despite the criticisms he receives for his demeanor and he still tries and proves to everyone that he is doing everything in his power to be hailed as the greatest king of all. By his side is Kage, an orphan from the wiped-out assassin clan, a lone survivor, who, even without words, Bojji fully understands.

The whole anime series of Ranking of Kings will be having 23 episodes all in all and to date, it is on the second part of the cour of its first season as it spans two anime seasons, fall to winter, and it is continuous which means that there are no breaks for the show in between, not including the weekly interval of each episode.

Every week, Ranking of Kings releases new episodes with the show’s original Japanese audio with English subtitles on Funimation where the streaming platform give their active premium access users the chance to see the show’s latest episode a week before everyone else gets it for free. The subscription costs $5.99 per month or $59.99 a year.

Yes! Bojji came from the pages of the Japanese fantasy manga series of the same name, Ranking of Kings, which is written and illustrated by Sōsuke Tōka. It is serialized under Echoes’ Manga Hack website and to date, it has twelve tankōbon volumes by Enterbrain. To add to the excitement, the manga series is still ongoing.

Ranking of Kings releases new episodes every week at 12:55 AM JST/ 7:55 AM PT/ 9:55 AM CT/ 10:55 AM EST/ 4:55 PM BST.
