A 2016 fake report about John Cena dying in a car crash was the basis of the latest death hoax. The Sun even noted that the false posts had gained traction in countries like Myanmar, Cambodia and Bangladesh, wherein photos allegedly taken at the professional wrestler’s funeral were also attached.

AFP News immediately debunked the John Cena death rumors and found out that the images being spread on Facebook were doctored and falsified. The WWE star has not yet responded to the death hoax up to this writing.

Where Is John Cena Now?

Recent reports suggested that John Cena is currently working on the upcoming Fast and Furious sequel. As a matter of fact, the hunky actor left his fans in awe when he showed off his sculpted muscles in a clinging T-shirt on the set of the imminent movie.

John Cena has been spending a lot of his time shooting for the 10th instalment of the Fast and Furious series. Besides the WWE star, the imminent film will also feature Scott Eastwood, son of Clint Eastwood, who was also seen with the wrestler on the set.

A snap of John Cena and Scott Eastwood made rounds online. The photo featured the wrestler-actor looking dashing as he slipped into a black and blue-colored shirt that constricted around his prominent pecs and let him display his musculature-filled arms. Scott, for his part, looked dapper while playing a scene sporting full military gear.

Joining John Cena and Scott Eastwood in Fast X are returning stars Vin Diesel and Charlize Theron. Jason Momoa and Brie Larson were also signed to appear in the imminent movie. Fast X is scheduled to be released on May 19, 2023, in the U.S.
