Jang Yoon Joo’s name got involved in a recent report about a man who tried to murder his wife.
On Tuesday, the Yongsan Police Station arrested a man and charged him with attempted murder after stabbing his actress wife at his home in Itaewon.
The actress was reportedly stabbed in the neck and was immediately rushed to a hospital. Initial reports added that the husband is in his 30s, while his model-turned-actress wife is in her 40s.
As of press time, the authorities are still investigating the incident. However, internet users named the actress and insisted that the victim was actress Jang Yoon Joo.

Actress Jang Yoon Joo Says She Is Not the Actress in the Report
The public recently created a buzz as they suggested that Choi Ji Yeon was the actress who got stabbed. But she eventually clarified that she and her husband are on good terms.
Jang Yoon Joo’s name then surfaced, as she was a model before becoming an actress.

With that, she immediately debunked the rumors by also sharing a photo of her on Instagram.
Her fans showed signs of relief as both actresses cleared their names from the incident. Currently, the police have not publicized the couple’s identities yet.
Meanwhile, a YouTuber shared further details about the victim on his YouTube channel.
Who is the Victim?
The entertainment reporter-turned-YouTuber Lee Jin Ho shared a new video on his YouTube channel. He revealed that people asked him to cover the story of actress K who got stabbed by her husband.
"After investigating, I was able to find out who the person in question was. However, I will not be able to reveal the person's identity since there are concerns there will be a secondary attack or harm due to the exposure of her identity,” he said.
He clarified that the actress is not a top star. The celebrity also got remarried secretly, and the man she tied the knot with was the perpetrator.
In the end, Lee Jin Ho hinted that the actress never introduced her husband to the public.
