What Will The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3 Be About?
The Irregular at Magic High School season 3 is confirmed to adapt three different arcs from the light novel: the Double Seven arc, the Steeplechase arc, and the Ancient City Insurrection arc.
The Double Seven arc takes place in April 2096, and Tatsuya and Miyuki successfully enter their second year in school. Tatsuya's achievements lead to the creation of the Magical Engineering Course.
He hopes to have a peaceful school year with his sister. However, the arrival of three new first-years from elite families interrupts his plans.
The Steeplechase arc begins three months later in July 2096. Along with the summer season comes a new Nine School Competition.
To spice things up, the participants are informed that there will be major rule changes—only a few weeks before the event. Amid all the chaos, Tatsuya catches wind of a possible hidden agenda behind the scenes.
Two months after the events of the Nine School Competition, the Thesis Competition is on the horizon.
Tatsuya is busy helping the First High in its preparations for the event. However, things don’t go as smoothly when they receive a curious request from Maya Yotsuba.
This prompts Tatsuya and Miyuki to head to Kyoto, where they must face intricate schemes and hidden conflicts hidden beneath the surface of the ancient capital.
The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3 Unveils New Trailer
The Irregular at Magic High School has revealed a promo video for season 3.
Along with footage from the new season, the video also showcases a part of the new opening theme titled Shouted Serenade by LiSA, who is perhaps best known for performing the Demon Slayer OP titled Gurenge.
The PV also highlights various characters and their VAs, including the new character Takuma Shippou, who will be voiced by Tatsumaru Tachibana.
The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3 Confirms April Release Date
The anime's official website has revealed that The Irregular at Magic High School season 3 will premiere on April 5, 2024, at 11:30 PM Japan time.
The show will also hold an advanced screening event on March 31, at Shinjuku Wald 9. Lead VAs Yuuichi Nakamura and Saori Hayami will attend the event alongside director Jimmy Stone.
