For horror fans, or simply those who can't stand the hype surrounding Valentine's Day, we have good news. Into the Dark, a Hulu anthology horror series with monthly episodes, each themed around a holiday, is coming back this February with some erotic horror you don't want to miss!

The forthcoming episode, Into the Dark: Tentacles is coming soon on Hulu and the title alone sounds chilling! Here's everything you need to know about the newest addition to the beloved horror show:

Into the Dark: Tentacles Release Date: When Will It Be Released on Hulu?

The feature-length episode is going to premiere on Hulu on the 12th of February 2021 – just the right time to arrange a horror night for Valentine's Day, which conveniently falls on a Sunday this year.

Into the Dark: Tentacles Time

The anthology form – one-shot episodes, or even one-shot seasons – seems to agree with the horror genre, as we've seen in many recent horror shows, such as American Horror Story and The Haunting of Hill House.

Into the Dark is unique, as each episode is released around the time a particular holiday or other festive day is about to take place.

There have been episodes for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, as well as Mother's and Father's Day. Like its 2019 and 2020 predecessors Down and MyValentine respectively, Tentacles is themed around Valentine's day.

Into the Dark: Tentacles Trailer

The recently released trailer of Into the Dark: Tentacles, expertly gives us an idea of the plot and the conflict without spoiling anything. We meet a young couple, Tara and Sam that becomes too intimate too fast, getting engaged before coming to truly know each other. Not long after, Sam comes down with a mysterious illness, caused by something in his environment – but what?

Tara is seen with a shovel, burying something, while the poster and the title itself, suggest she's more than meets the eye. What exactly is she? The character herself claims not to know in the trailer, so we can only hope that the lethal love story will eventually give us the answer.

Into the Dark: Tentacles Poster

For an episode titled Tentacles, the trailer doesn't focus on those much. The poster suggests that the titular tentacles have something to do with Tara's mysterious nature, bordering towards the Lovecraftian weird. But is the answer so simple or is something even stranger going on? We can't wait to find out.

Into the Dark: Tentacles Cast: Who Will Appear?

The main couple will be played by Dana Drori (Freaky, The Affair) and Casey Deidrick who has appeared in Eye Candy and the similarly titled In the Dark. Other cast members include Evan Williams and Kasey Elise.

Into the Dark: Tentacles Writer and Director: Who Made the Episode?

The newest entry in the horror anthology was written by Alexandra Pechman, who came up with the story along with Nick Antosca. It was directed by Clara Aranovich. As a whole, Into the Dark is produced by Jason Blum.

His independent studio, Blumhouse Television has produced well-loved horror stories such as Happy Death Day, Get Out, and Paranormal Activity.
