Inti Creates Want to Remake Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Though not fondly remembered for the longest time, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link has slowly been getting the recognition it deserves. Changing up the gameplay from the first Legend of Zelda, The Adventure of Link decided to focus more on side-scrolling gameplay that mixed up some RPG elements. Fans hated this for a while but have seemingly grown to it as the years went on and developer Inti Creates now wants to remake it for the Nintendo Switch.

During an interview with Nintendo Force magazine (via Zelda II), Inti Creates CEO Takuya Aizu revealed that he would want to make a new version of The Adventure of Link. Considering how appreciation for this game has risen a bit, adding new graphical touch ups would make this a mouth-watering instant-buy for fans.

Inti Creates has been responsible for a number of quality games recently, including Blaster Master Zero and Mighty Gunvolt Burst. Sure, they made Mighty No. 9 as well but they have seemingly made up for their that sin thanks to the previously mentioned games. Considering how good Blaster Master Zero is, the developers would make a great Zelda II remake.

Seriously though Nintendo, if Koei Tecmo can make a Dynasty Warriors game with Zelda and Fire Emblem characters, why not give Inti Creates a chance?

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link can be played now on the 3DS, Wii, and Wii U eShop.
