Qi'Ra is one of the new characters that we meet in Solo: A Star Wars Story, and she gets her own Forces of Destiny episode featuring bounty hunter IG-88 and swindler Hondo Ohnaka.
Hondo teams up with bounty hunter droid IG-88 to capture Qi'ra, but she outsmarts both her pursuers by pitting them against each other so that she can collect the bounty on them.
Though these animated snippets don't seem like much, they have been confirmed to be canon stories in the Star Wars universe. Not too long ago, Forces of Destiny revealed to us that Lei got her Boushh outfit with the help of Force Awakens' Maz Kanata. That detail is even mentioned about the costume in Star Wars Battlefront II.
I have to say, coming out of Solo, this is a very fun look at Qi'Ra's own connections to the criminal underground of Star Wars. Sure Han Solo may have spent his time as an Imperial for a while, but Qi'Ra basically grew into the criminal world while Han was playing a pawn of the Empire for three years.
We don't know where we'll meet Qi'Ra again, but Solo did open the door up for more sequels down the line. We don't know if there's going to be Solo: Episode II, but I wouldn't be too surprised if the sequel turns out to be that Boba Fett movie being written and directed by James Mangold.
