Who is Ida Ursin-Holm in Netflix's Christmas As Usual?
Christmas As Usual features the story of Thea, played by Ida Ursin-Holm who returns to their Norwegian home to visit her family and introduce her Indian fiancé, Jashan.
Ida has made appearances in several movies and series before Christmas As Usual, playing roles in 2016's The Lion Woman as Eva, the Forest Nymph in 2017's The Ash Lad: In the Hall of the Mountain King, as well as 2022's Jentetur where she portrayed the character Jeanette.
The highest Rotten Tomatoes-scored film Ida has starred in was the 2019 Norwegian movie, Amundsen: The Greatest Expedition which received 46%.
In her latest Netflix project, Ida plays the role of the main character, Thea, who has to deal with the fact she has to tell her Norwegian parents that she's engaged to her Indian boyfriend.

What is Christmas As Usual About?

Petter Holmsen's sister, Mia Holmsen, and her husband, Akshay Chawdhry, had a similar home Christmas story back in 2020, which you can check out in the Instagram post below:
It is worth mentioning that Holmsen not only helmed the Netflix movie but even penned the script of the love story on-screen, which makes even more sense as to how Holmsen brought his spin to the film, with the caption:
