iCarly series regulars Jerry Trainor, Nathan Kress, Laci Mosley, and Jaidyn Triplett revealed their characters’ futures in the upcoming iCarly Season 3.
After the previous season’s major cliffhanger, all eyes are now on what will happen in the series next.
Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) and Freddie (Kress) will struggle to figure out their relationship in iCarly Season 3. From Spencer’s return to his roots to Harper’s reunion with an old rival, fans will witness a lot of intense turn of events this season.
Nathan Kress Reveals What Fans Will See in iCarly Season 3
In an interview with Screen Rant, Kress knew fans wanted to see “some resolution and progress on the whole Creddie thing.”
“We've waited long enough. The people need to know what's going on. It's really fun to be able to do it in the context of this new show,” he said.

“The new grown-up aspects and relationships that we have and honestly be able to have some good chemistry and character moments that are maybe a little more dramatic than we would have been able to get away with before,” he explained. “We can expand out the tone of the show a little bit. … There's going to be some good stuff. I think people are going to be excited.”
Jaidyn Triplett Teases Millicent’s Growth in iCarly Season 3
Triplett also teased her character growth in the upcoming third season.
"I'm really excited for people to see that because I know that me seeing someone my age going through the same preteen struggles always makes me feel more comfortable, and it makes me like the show so much more,” she told Screen Rant.
Harper’s Backstory in iCarly Season 3
In addition, Mosley revealed fans would see Harper’s backstory in iCarly Season 3.

“We've seen all these one-liners about her being rich, but we're going to start seeing people from her past,” she stated. “And she's going to work through her trauma in the goofiest way possible.”
Spencer’s Different Personas and Backstory in iCarly Season 3
Lastly, Trainor teased Spencer would become a “gritty New York City cop” and would start “solving crimes.”
“He does take on a bunch of weird different personas, and you discover a little of his backstory, too,” he continued. “Post original series, pre-reboot, backstory. You find out what he's been up to, and it's disturbing, to say the least.”

iCarly Season 3 will premiere with two new episodes on Thursday, June 1, on Paramount+.
