DAWN and HyunA might be the next idol couple to get married soon.
Despite all rules in the K-pop industry, DAWN and HyunA braved them all and let their love prevail. Their relationship started soon after the duo met as labelmates following Pentagon’s debut.
The duo got the chance to work together for the first time through the subunit, Triple H.
After leaving the agency to safeguard their relationship and starting anew with P Nation, DAWN finally proposed to HyunA in February. Although it has only been a few months since they got engaged, the Money hitmaker spoke about marriage multiple times already.
Are DAWN, HyunA Getting Married?
During the July 13 episode of the MBC TV show, Radio Star, DAWN talked about their engagement ring and revealed his marriage plans.
The former Pentagon member revealed that he actually had another ring to give to the Bubble Pop hitmaker. But while waiting for a good time, he suddenly thought of having a couple ring.
"When she asked me that, I didn't know how to respond, because I got the ring made without telling her. I soullessly responded to her, and she got really upset. In order to cheer her up, I decided to just give her the ring,” he said, as quoted by SBS News.

It turned out that the ring he gave to her was made in the wrong size. With that, he decided to get a set of rings for the two of them. Soon after getting the finished product, he proposed to her.
The hosts then asked him about his marriage plans, to which he honestly said they do not have a specific date yet. Since they both love to do things without plans, DAWN said they could get married next week.
It might not be possible for now as they are busy with their work. Regardless of the date, he assured me that he always thought HyunA whenever marriage suddenly popped out his mind.
DAWN Also Respects HyunA
Although he publicly shows his feelings for HyunA, DAWN recently disclosed that he also greatly respects her.
During his pictorial and interview with Harper’s Bazaar, he divulged that HyunA became his photographer to shoot the cover photos for his new single, Stupid Cool. With that, he realized that she is not only his girlfriend.
"Whether HyunA is my girlfriend or not, I have such great respect for her. She is eminent in the field of visual arts. I get a lot of help from her on the colors to use and outfits to wear,” he said.
As they continue to have a blooming relationship, fans might truly hear wedding bells soon.
