Hugh Jackman Says He’s Never Seen Game Of Thrones

Game of Thrones might be one of the biggest shows on television today, but that doesn't mean that everyone's seen the live-action adaptation of George R.R. Martin's Fire and Ice novel series. That includes X-Men's Wolverine, Hugh Jackman.

Jackman just recently spoke with MTV to help promote his upcoming film The Front Runner, and during his interview with the outlet, the X-Men star talked about various topics like the potential return of Wolverine in the X-Men franchise and his openness to taking on another superhero movie role. Jackman was also asked about his opinion on who'd end up in the Iron Throne, Jackman had no clue what the host was talking about.

"I don't know what that is," said Jackman.

MTV later on explained that the Iron Throne was a reference to Game of Thrones, and there the actor revealed that he'd never seen the series even though his brother-in-law works as a stunt coordinator on the show.

"Ah, I've never seen it. And I feel so bad about it because my brother-in-law is stunt coordinator on it, and has won a bunch of SAG awards and Emmys, and I feel sorry, really," the actor added.

Jackman is probably trying to keep away from major pop culture shows and films after retiring from the X-Men franchise. Ever since Wolverine's heartbreaking death in Logan, the X-Men star has refused time and time again to bring out his claws. He's also turned down Deadpool actor Ryan Reynold's many offers to work o a Deadpool/Wolverine crossover.

Once Upon A Deadpool, Fox's PG-13 version of Deadpool 2, is set to premiere on December 12.
