After what seemed like forever, Marvel Studios finally dropped our first look at the highly anticipated MCU debuts of Wade Wilson and Logan in Deadpool 3.

Officially titled, Deadpool & Wolverine (not "Deadpool & Friend" like the recent leaks say), the film will see the Merc with a Mouth become the "savior" of the billion-dollar franchise.

Turns out, Deadpool was tasked by the TVA to cleanse the timelines leading to him traveling from one universe to another, potentially meeting variants of all shapes and forms.

Naturally, MCU diehards rejoiced following the release of the film's teaser at Super Bowl LVIII. However, one person doesn't seem all that thrilled about the project's official title and that's none other than Hugh Jackman who took matters into his own hands.

Taking to his official social media pages, the X-Men icon jokingly declared that the film should be called "Wolverine and A**hole" instead, putting Logan at the forefront and implying that Mr. Pool should be a supporting character. "Fixed it," Jackman said. Check it out here:

In another Instagram post, Jackman took a dig at Wade and Logan being labeled "best friends", saying: “Best” is a stretch. So is “friends.” We'll never get tired of their seemingly endless feud.

There's no denying that fans of comic book movies have been dealing with "superhero fatigue" as of late but it's pretty safe to say that the third Deadpool film reinvigorated their enthusiasm for the genre.

Judging by what we've seen from the teaser so far, it looks like Deadpool & Wolverine will be a fun flick and hopefully, it does end up saving the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel Studios' Deadpool & Wolverine is slated to hit cinemas this July 26.
