Hugh Jackman Breaks Silence on Avengers: Secret Wars Rumors

There's no denying that 2022 has been a hell of a year for the entire comic book film fandom, and arguably one of the biggest if not the biggest news to come out of this year was Hugh Jackman's shocking involvement in Deadpool 3. While some people consider Jackman's MCU casting a one-time deal, others can't help but speculate what the future holds for him in the billion-dollar franchise.

Since Jackman's casting was confirmed, there have been persistent rumors surrounding his potential involvement in Avengers: Secret Wars. Now, the Australian megastar is finally addressing the possibility but his response is quite vague, to say the least.

Speaking on The Empire Film Podcast, the 54-year-old actor broke his silence on the ongoing reports, saying that he treats every project as a "one-and-done". He explains: "I imagine every movie as a one-and-done. That’s how I see it. I’ll be honest, I had a two-picture deal at the beginning, but I still assumed it was a one-and-done. You know, back then, there were no comic movies. I just take it one at a time. I’m lucky in that way, I don’t have to think beyond that, but I think it’s the best way to go."
