The third movie in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise has been announced for 2019, and now we have a first look at the returning characters for the film. It looks like Hiccup and his gang are getting some dragon armor upgrades.

It looks like the characters will be aged up for a bit this time, with the characters—especially Fishlegs—getting some distinct facial hair. Everyone also gets armor specific to their dragons. I don't know if the armor is actual dragonhide, but I don't think Hiccup has it in him to kill another Night Fury just so he can wear it.
After Hiccup becomes the chief of his tribe in the last movie, he's said to be going against a villain named Grimmel (F. Murray Abraham) in this third film. We still have no idea on what the main plot for the film will be, but rumor has it that it will involve the disappearance of the dragons.
Of course, these are just rumors. Dreamworks could be working on something else entirely.
