How Many Post-Credits Scenes are in Eternals?

The classic touch or Marvel is that it puts post-credits scenes to its films where it is either a mid-credits scene, a post-credits scene, or maybe even both. Some would even say you’re never truly a fan of Marvel if you don’t sit the whole movie out until the final second. Though there are times when all that’s in the end seconds are “will return” lines, the excitement of waiting for a post-credit scene still lingers.

For the Eternals, there are two post-credits scenes and both are setting up the stage wherein the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been laid down. The two have something big for both the titular characters and the whole franchise itself. There is a mid-credits scene and one literally at the end of the credits.

The mid-credits scene is set in the spaceship of the Eternals where Druig, Thena, and Makkari are on a mission to look for more Eternals in the universe. They saw a strange light and it turns out to be Pip the Troll who announced that arrival of Eros, the brother of Thanos, the much-awaited arrival of Harry Styles in the MCU.

In the post-credits scene, Dane Whitman is alone in the room while he is contemplating with what is inside of the family crest. Even when he was quite hesitant at first, he opened the case and there, he found a sword which has the words “death is my reward” inscribed on it. When Dane was about to touch the sword, it cuts to black and a voice says, “Sure, you’re ready for that, Mr. Whitman?”
