The Heavenly Idol is a story about a higher priest from the Other World who suddenly gets transported to another world where he acquires the body of a Kpop idol.

In Seoul, Rembrary, the messenger of the great ones from above, one day finds himself in the body of Woo Yeon Woo, one of the members of the idol group Wild Animals, with a look that is nothing close to his original solemnity and divinity. Everything from skills to looks and even one’s past must be close to perfection in the world of idols, but what he sees is a weird world filled with fake smiles, concealing what lies underneath.
The same was implicitly forced and anticipated, but Rembrary stuck to his beliefs and acted accordingly. This inevitably attracted both positive and negative attention. In fact, nothing he did was wrong or blameworthy, but his actions and words were only achievable through effort, which is why they were ignored by the majority.
Yet, strangely, people couldn’t disregard his presence. One by one, his beliefs started turning into reality, and people who were weary and jaded of superficial practices found it therapeutic to be around Rembrary. And perhaps in the end, Rembrary just might find out the very reason he ended up in Seoul.
