Who is Griselda Blanco and Who Are Her Sons?
Griselda Blanco gained the moniker "Cocaine Godmother" for successfully running illegal smuggling rings and a drug-trading empire since the 1970s.
Although there have been plenty of documentaries centered on her story, Netflix is releasing a miniseries titled Griselda, where the main star's role will be played by Modern Family's Sofia Vergara.
Blanco was also called "Black Widow" as she was reported to have had her husbands murdered in brutal fashion.
Griselda met her first husband in 1956. She was just 13 years old at the time.
Her first husband's name was Carlos Trujillo, a "street hustler who specialized in creating false immigration documents and importing illegal immigrants into the United States."
Griselda birthed three sons with him before turning 21, namely, Osvaldo, Uber, and Dixon Trujillo.
Miami New Times previously reported that Griselda later married a third time in 1978 to a contract killer named Dario Sepulveda.
Blanco gave birth to her fourth son with Dario and named him Michael Corleone Sepulveda, inspired by the Godfather star that Al Pacino played.

How Did the Sons of Griselda Blanco Die?
So, how did the sons of Griselda Blanco die? Back in 1985, Blanco was arrested in her California home. Upon her arrest, she left her sons with no defenses, which led to their unfortunate deaths.
According to Distractify, by the time Blanco was released in 2004, her three older sons were killed by her rivals in Columbia.
This release eventually led to Griselda being deported for being an illegal U.S. immigrant.
Unfortunately, there had been no reports as to how Griselda's three older sons died, apart from the vague statement.
Only one of Blanco's sons lives and that is Michael Corleone Sepulveda, who is now in his mid-40s.
Griselda Blanco's Son Sues Netflix and Sofia Vergara
Being the last living son of the "Cocaine Godmother", Michael Blanco was naturally one of Netflix's immediate contact and source of information to make Griselda as accurate as possible.
However, despite participating in the streamer's interviews and even disclosing "nonpublic details" about Griselda, Michael would sue Netflix for not being "fairly compensated."
The former Modern Family star was even included in the said lawsuit documents. After all, she is in charge of executive producing the show.
According to the lawsuit obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Michael and his wife, Marie, are "seeking damages in excess of $50,000 as well as an emergency temporary injunction to block the January 25 release of Griselda."
