House of the Dragon Actor Teases Game of Thrones Prequel's Massive Scale

There is already a lot of hype for House of the Dragon although the series has not yet been given an official release date. Nevertheless, fans can expect the Game of Thrones prequel to be just as epic as its predecessor. Actor Ryan Corr has spoken up about the HBO show's scale, confirming that the sets for the show were absolutely massive!

Ryan Corr recently spoke to where he admitted to being blown away every time he walked on the set of the Game of Thrones spin-off.

"The sheer size of it was something I was amazed by," Corr said. "When you are walking into operational sets with actual jousting tournaments and full-level scale castles with fire cauldrons hanging on the roof, it’s a pretty incredible place to be. It’s like walking into a live Shakespeare play."

This isn't a big surprise considering that House of the Dragon is aiming to be just as huge as Game of Thrones. Nevertheless, it's an exciting update about the series and we can't wait to see the Seven Kingdoms again later this year.

Ryan Corr has been cast as Ser Harwin Strong, a knight who is known for being the strongest man in the Seven Kingdoms, earning him the nickname "Breakbones." He is also the eldest son to Master of Laws Lyonel Strong and will one day inherit Harrenhal castle, making him a character to watch out for in the series.

House of the Dragon will star Paddy Considine, Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith, and Emma D'Arcy. They will be joined by a stellar ensemble cast including Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Graham McTavish, Fabien Frankel, Emily Carey, Milly Alcock, and Sonoya Mizuno.

For now, the Game of Thrones prequel series has not yet been given an official release date. Nevertheless, House of the Dragon is already set to premiere on HBO later in 2022.
