Homecoming’ Scorpion Star Teases A Big Spider-Man Announcement At This Year’s SDCC

Marvel Studios might not be attending this year's San Diego Comic-Con International, but it seems like Spider-Man: Homecoming villain Michael Mando is actually teasing a little web-slinging surprise at the convention.

Posting the mid-credits scene of Tom Holland's first standalone Spider-Man movie on Instagram, Mando wrote down a whole lot of exciting teases for Marvel fans.

"Gee, I sure hope Spider-Man shows up," the Breaking Bad star teased on his post, adding on a few hashtags to the caption like #SDCC, #TheScorpion, and #TheVulture. Could Sony be planning on bringing Holland to one of their panels at the 2018 SDCC?

Mando's already set to take part in the season 4 promotion of Better Call Saul at SDCC this Thursday, but there hasn't been any word on whether or not he'll be joining Sony's panel at the convention on Friday night. Based on the actor's post, it looks like Homecoming's Scorpion just might be there.

Though we still aren't that sure, it's possible that Mando could announce that he'll be returning in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Or maybe Sony will be announcing the production of Sinister Six. After all, the mid-credits scene of Homecoming has Scorpion telling the Vulture (Michael Keaton) that he knows other men who'd want to take down Spider-Man, others who might turn out to be Mysterio and Chameleon in Far From Home.

Let's just wait and see what kind of announcement Mando will be making.

Spider-Man: Far From Home hits cinemas July 05, 2019.
