Sony is developing a Faith film based on the Valiant Comics character.

As THR reported today, Sony is continuing to expand their deal with Valiant Entertainment and is developing a live-action film based on the character Faith. The fan-favorite character was introduced in Harbinger #1 back in 1992 and now she has her own solo comic book series. Faith's powers are primarily flight but she can also make psychic bubbles to carry others around her while flying.

Maria Melnik, who worked on the American Gods TV series and Counterpart, has been tapped to pen the script for the live-action adaptation.

Sony's other plans with Valiant Entertainment include Bloodshot, starring Vin Diesel as the title superhero with Dave Wilson directing from a script written by Acadamy Award-nominated writer Eric Heisserer (The Thing, Arrival). The film is set to start filming soon. The studio is also developing Harbinger with Heisserer which focuses on a group of teens with different superpowers. It was previously reported that the two properties would eventually crossover on the big screen with Harbinger War, which is based on the 2013 crossover comic. The Faith character might also crossover in the big screen but it will probably take years from now before we see that happen.
