Heroes in Crisis Variant Cover Announcement Teases Something Dramatic For Harley Quinn

Comic book fans are a little worried about DC's next big event Heroes in Crisis since it will have a fan-favorite character dying. The seven-issue mini-series is expected to make a big impact and will likely change the current status quo for a number of these characters, particularly for Harley Quinn and Booster Gold, who are suspects in the murder that happens. DC doesn't use the word Crisis lightly after all.

Speaking of the former, DC is teasing that Harley will have a big moment in the series. This is expected to be a fairly dramatic one since it's going to join a number of other heroes' tragic moments. These dramatic moments - like Superman's death at the hands of Doomsday and Batman's back being broken by Bane - will be variant covers for the series, with Harley's variant yet to be revealed.

The fact that Harley's moment is being compared to these actions means that she will never be the same after Heroesin Crisis. It will likely affect her solo series and Suicide Squad since those are her most prominent titles.

For those unfamiliar with the concept, Heroes in Crisis revolves around a murder that happens in Sanctuary, a safe haven for heroes who are suffering from PTSD and other mental illnesses. Poison Ivy and Wally West are some of the super-powered individuals who have been taken into the institution.
