It's been a truly long wait for The New Mutants but it looks like we're finally getting some updates about the perpetually-delayed X-Men spin-off film. The new trailer for the Josh Boone movie will be dropped on Monday and we now know what time to expect it.
The confirmation comes from the official New Mutants Twitter account, which went live just to drop a teaser. Check it out below.
So what does this all mean? Some believe that the teaser indicates the date when the trailer will be dropped (01-06-20) as well as the time (06:00). Interestingly, this means that X-Men fans will have to wake up early on Monday to get their first glimpse at the new trailer.
Although there haven't been any updates about The New Mutants for a long time, Boone has been quietly getting ready for the film's premiere. This was confirmed by New Mutants comic book artist Bill Sienkiewicz, who admitted that Boone had shown him the new trailer. Luckily, we will all soon be able to see it as well.
The New Mutants stars Anya Taylor-Joy as Magik, Maisie Williams as Wolfsbane, Charlie Heaton as Cannonball, Henry Zaga as Sunspot, and Blu Hunt as Mirage. They will be joined by Alice Braga, who portrays Cecilia Reyes, and Antonio Banderas, whose role is still undisclosed.
Watch out for the new New Mutants trailer on January 6 at 6:00 AM. The film is scheduled for release on April 3.
