The trailer for the highly anticipated X-Men: Dark Phoenix is dropping tonight and it looks like 20th Century Fox is cranking up the hype by releasing the first official synopsis for the studio's latest installment in the X-Men franchise.
With the promotional video for Dark Phoenix still a few hours away from release, the synopsis gives X-Men fans an idea of what to expect from the new movie. According to the film description (via ComicBook.com), Sophie Turner's Jean Grey interacts with Phoenix while on a mission in space, and it looks like the Phoenix Force is going to bring out a terrifying side to her.

The Rise of the Dark Phoenix arc is one of the most popular sagas for Jean Grey in Marvel Comics, leading to her second death in the franchise.
We definitely can't wait to see snippets of Dark Phoenix in the upcoming trailer release. The film was in production limbo for the past few years, and its 2018 release date was once pushed back so that Fox could work on the movie's reshoots.
Hopefully, everything works out for the movie.
