Here’s How Luke, Leia, And Han Could All Appear In Star Wars: Episode IX

Star Wars: The Force Awakens might have killed off Han Solo (Harrison Ford) in a devastating turn of events, but fans are still hoping to see everyone's favorite smuggler reunite with Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Leia Organa (the late Carrie Fisher) in Star Wars: Episode IX.

Knowing that J.J. Abram's Episode IX serves as the third and final installment in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, many expect the director to give the Star Wars saga a satisfying send-off for fans. While this might mean tying together all the loose threads left by the first two films in the sequel trilogy, it also means giving a proper end to the Star Wars story that began with A New Hope about four decades ago.

According to Screen Rant, the perfect way to end the Skywalker saga is to bring the original trio together – Luke, Leia, and Han.

Right now, Luke and Leia have both been confirmed for Star Wars 9. Sure, Luke might have sacrificed himself to save the Resistance in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but Hamill's already set to reprise his role either as a Force Ghost, or as an element in a dream sequence, or even as part of a flashback. Han might not have the same potential to return as a Force Ghost considering his connection with the Force, but the character could very well return in a flashback or in a dream sequence in the film. There's no reason we can't see Han together with Luke and Leia in a flashback before everyone separates ways throughout the galaxy.

What do you think of Han's return? Should Episode IX make room for a Luke, Leia, and Han reunion?

Star Wars: Episode IX premieres December 20, 2019.
