Here’s A Brand New Look At Aquaman’s Ocean Master And Mera

This year's San Diego Comic-Con International has just begun and it looks like Warner Brothers has a brand new look at Amber Heard's Mera and Patrick Wilson's Ocean Master in the DC Extended Universe's upcoming Aquaman.

Taking to Reddit, a DC fan decided to share a couple of new promotional images of Mera and Orm for everyone to look at before the expected release of Aquaman's trailer at Comic-Con this weekend. Bright and colorful, the promotional images give fans a detailed look at Aquaman's (Jason Momoa) half-brother and the Queen of Atlantis.

With dazzling costumes, the DCEU's Mera and Orm look a whole lot like their characters in the comics, and fans on Reddit just couldn't help but gush at how Wilson's Ocean Master looks just like he was brought to life from the Aquaman series. Fans also couldn't help but squeal over Ocean Masters helmet – an actual prop and not a helmet made from CGI.

There's certainly a lot of excitement building up over Aquaman. Not only has the film shed the dark colors that's shrouded the DCEU, but it's also taking a lot of cues from its comic book source material. Touching base with Geoff Johns and Ivan Reiss' Aquaman run in the New 52, Aquaman is going to focus on Arthur Curry's conflict with his half-brother, Orm.

Aquaman premieres on December 21, 2018.
