Henry Cavill Discusses Awesome Preparation for Superman's Return in Black Adam

Anyone who stuck around for the mid-credits scene in Black Adam was in for a treat as the Man of Steel made an awesome comeback into the DC Extended Universe. But what was it like putting on the Superman suit after several years? Henry Cavill has shared his thoughts on preparing for the cameo in the Dwayne Johnson film.

Henry Cavill recently spoke to Collider while promoting Enola Holmes 2. However, he also discussed his other projects including Black Adam. When asked what it was like to put on the suit again, the Justice League star admitted that it was a special moment for him.

"It was a powerful moment for me, a meaningful moment. I was given a choice of which suit I wanted to wear, and I went straight for the Man of Steel suit," Cavill said. "That one holds the most nostalgia for me, and the most meaning. To put that back on, and stand there in front of a mirror suited up again, the suit holds a special power, and there's no way of getting around that, even if you are the one wearing it."

He continued, "To see myself standing back in that suit was a meaningful moment. It's difficult to describe. Many years hoping, planning, striving, doing everything I can to get back into it, and then finally be able to get back into it, it meant a lot and it's something that I won't quickly forget."

It may have been a brief cameo but Superman's return confirmed that Henry Cavill will be back in more DCEU projects. Although there hasn't been an official announcement about Man of Steel 2, it could only be a matter of weeks before we get an update. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
